I didn't get pictures of everyone or everything, but here's a handful of fun shots of the Glover day festivities.
Martha registers for her race.
Wayne and Jacob before the 5K. This was Wayne's first year stepping up from the kids 2K to the intermediate 5K.
Heather at my arts and crafts table making her paper towel roll crown.
Jacob finishing the 5K with Wayne hot on his heels.
Heather, Estelle, and Anya together again for the kids race.
The little mother-hen-friends remove some craft table glitter from Heather's hair.
Elaine and Baby Wesley watching the kids finish.
Estelle smoking down the home stretch. She's here this morning as I do this post (a sleepover) and she says, "I was so hot, I just kept running fast so I could be done."
Heather, somewhat disturbed by the loudness of Bread and Puppet music, gathers herself up to finish the race.
Caroline is thinking, "Heather, you have a paper towel roll on your head."
Lesley walked the 5.5 miles and Thomas ran it.
Big cousins and little cousins.
Heather with a circus toy.
Wayne shows her how to do it. He learned at school when a theatre group came to do a workshop with the students last year.
Here's a video. Sorry it's sideways. I haven't made that mistake in a long time.
Lena worked very seriously on this crown for a long, long time. I was amazed at her concentration.
Cole and Fintan haven't seen each other in a while. They had fun together.
I completely missed the bike race. I don't know how that happened. I wasn't even aware of the start. It must have been a busy time at the craft table.
There was a barbecue at Shadow Lake camp after. I arrived late after striking the set at Glover Day, so didn't bring my camera. I'm sure Julie will have some shots of things there.
