E is for Excellent

I don't have a scanner, so I'm relying on my camera's macro function for these pictures of Wayne's report card. I'll remind some of you (my Mom) that if you click with your left mouse button, the picture will enlarge so perhaps you can see it better.

He's a genius!
On the back of the report card, where Mrs. Dunlavey writes her comments, she said, "Wayne is off to a wonderful start in the first grade. Wayne is reading at grade level. He does very well in math and all other subjects. Wayne is a superb listener and works very carefully on all his assignments. He is a very kind and courteous young boy. I've enjoyed getting to know Wayne."

Sometimes I feel like my heart will explode.

  2. We had so much fun looking at Wayne's report card. We are both so proud of his excellent grades, wonderful study skills and social skills, and the comments from the teacher.

Of course he accepts responsibility well. Does his teacher know how he stacks the firewood and puts his dishes in the dishwasher?

We are proud of our 1st grader, Wayne!

    Love, Grammie and Aunt Lisa

  3. He is just an wonderful boy, in school and out!! He does have wonderful parents to thank!!
Good thing it doesn't have a spot for the teacher to record how many trips to the pricipal's office he has to make every day! (Just kidding...I love to tease Wayne about this!!)

  4. What the heck is that S+ is music? How dare she blemish an otherwise 100% perfect card. Who is that music teacher? Get that woman on the phone! Hasn't she heard him playing the Titanic theme for his brother on the piano? Foolish woman. Doesn't she know his father is a musical genius? I'll have that woman's head on a platter!
