Wayne and Cole got dressed and ate breakfast in a hurry this morning. They had to get in some "snow time" before school.

This is the first time Spike has seen snow. He was excited as Wayne and Cole were. He even loved it when they (gently) threw snowballs at him.

He is so fast, they were hardly able to get him. Sparkle was a nice dog, but now I'm so glad we ended up with Spike.

Later in the morning, Sophia went outside with Heather. They were out for a long time and then came in for hot cocoa when Joanie stopped in.

Remember when
you were so excited about the first snow that you had to be out there at the crack of dawn?
I WAS that excited this morning! When I left the apartment there wasn't any snow because of the lake, but as drove away from home, I couldn't believe my eyes! Snow falling down everywhere! I stopped to take pictures with my phone so that my family in FL would believe me. What a day!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see that all three enjoyed the first snow fall. We had heard snow was expected up north. I remember that last year Wayne and Cole went outside to play before school last year during the first snow fall.
ReplyDeleteI feel snookered! No snow at our house, but a friend who loves only 5 miles away posted Facebook photos of snow at her house! Of course, I won't be so disappoited come mid-February, when I'm anxious for the warm weather to return.
ReplyDeleteAnyway,I can;t believe how much snow you did get- the ground looks covered!
I love that the kids can chase Spike all around. He looks like a great puppy, and will have a fantastic life with your family! He seems big in the pictures, and looks like a great dane puppy!
Wow, we were in flip-flops today!
ReplyDeleteWe are supposed to get snow this weekend! Crazy, I don't want it to get that cold yet, but it is so pretty on the mountains here. Hope all is well, love your festive background!
