Making the Best of What Little Snow We Have (I'm Not Complaining!)

I took lousy photos over Christmas, and there hasn't been much going on around here, but just to celebrate our new speedy internet, here are a couple of videos and photos of some snow play.

Heather snowboarding:

Wayne's friend, Ben, came over this afternoon. They used sleds as shields for a snowball fight.

Then, instead of sledding, a new sport: rolling down the hill.

And here is a snow person I made all by myself because everyone else was more interested in pelting each other with snowballs.

I could not get over Heather on that snowboard! Yikes! Looked scary to me!
I went for a little walk in the woods this afternoon, and I thought I heard the sound of kids playing...I guess I wasn't dreaming!!
I am so glad it will be so much easier and faster for you to use the internet now!!

  2. Today is Epiphany, Darlene. And certainly it is a reason to celebrate if you, finally, FINALLY, have entered the world of highspeed. Hallelujah.
Welcome aboard. It will change your life.
Great photos. So missing the snow, even if there's not much. Heather looks like a giant.

  3. I love your snowman. He's classy and cute!

Heather does a nice job on her snowboard. I am surprised at how much snow you do have as our ground is still green here!

Welcome to high speed internet! You'll love it!
