Did you know that the saxophone is categorized as a woodwind instrument? I did not know that until a few days ago.
In fourth grade, students can choose an instrument and join the school band. Cole has chosen the saxophone and had his first lesson at school today.
Hmm. Just when we finished paying for Wayne's trumpet, another comes along. It is beautiful though.
Neat! When I think of a saxophone, I think of jazz music! Does Cole like jazz?

ReplyDeleteThere is one little girl in Estelle's class who plays the saxophone. She's been at it already one year. She and Estelle are the only 2 out of 24 playing reed instruments. I never realized how little I knew about reed instruments until 1 month ago! Go Cole!
