We spent the last days of 2015 outside in the snow again.
On Wednesday, Heather and I went for a snowshoe walk.
Then, on New Year's Eve day...
Meanwhile, Heather and I finished this lovely lady.
And in the end, this is the disturbing scene Cole created. Very creative.
Then Heather and I went for a walk in the woods. We made a few mini snow people along the way.
(Wayne was not home to make snowmen with us - he was at his friend, Asom's, birthday)
We saw lost of rabbit tracks in the snow.
The deer that eluded hunters all season are now wandering everywhere, safely, in the woods.
Later in the afternoon, we also went for a snowshoe with Joanie.
Studying some animal tracks.
And a history lesson about the fence and gate in the middle of nowhere.
Another mini snow person guarding the site (until Spike plucked its head off and we had to make another)
Here's hoping 2016 is filled with special moments, big and small, for all of us.

Must be fun hiking in the woods and finding all those snowmen about!

You are so lucky to have enough snow to make the cute snowmen and snowlady!! They are so cute!! Heather must've slept well with all that fresh air and snowshoeing twice in one day!! Love Cole's tragic end to the snowman!!
