While some people are in the midst of a drought, we can't complain about the mild fall temperatures and the brilliant tree colors.
Heather, Spike, and I went for a walk yesterday, to collect leaves.
We used the leaves to make crayon leaf rubbings and watercolor painted over the crayon.
Today, Heather decided to rake some leaves into a pile for leaf jumping.
Meanwhile, the chickadees are making a good meal of the sunflowers in the garden.

Ahh, what glorious fall days you are having. Really loved the crayon/watercolor leaf prints. Heather looks so so tall!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors!! Such a wonderful mom to make time for art projects and walks!! Heather does look tall --it was a great surprise to see her face peeking out of all those leaves!! Beautiful, Heather!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos, face in leaves. Stuff of legends. Good for you taking time for art projects, I rarely do that. But what would we pick up? Dog poop on the sidewalks of Nice? ha ha
