Defy Gravity

Remember a couple of months ago,we were in the thick of it with soccer. Same situation now, but with basketball.

Heather plays on the Glover Jr. Hoops team.  It is for kids grades 3-6. She has come a loooong way since last year. I have been very proud watching her play this year.

Here they are playing against Barton and won. They have won all of their games so far.
Wayne has learned to defy gravity.
The other guy gets the ball here, but
Wayne seems to linger in the air for a while.

This was a home game against Enosburg.

In the air again.

It was a nail biter of a game.
Wayne was the tallest player on the floor and when he jumps, he's miles above everyone.
The score was back and forth in the 4th period.

In the end. Lake Region lost to Enosburg, but players and spectators agreed that this was one of the more exciting games in a long time.
Stay tuned for Cole's middle school basketball games. Haven't had any good pictures yet, but I'll work on it!

  2. Great photos, love to see how Heather & Wayne play! Why does Wayne have knee braces on - trouble?
I assume the girls are on him like flypaper.

    1. He says his knees ache sometimes, but I notice several players wear them and wonder if it has become the thing to do right now.

  3. Great to look at the photos of Heather and Wayne in action! So proud of them. I wonder what that black strap on Wayne's left shoulder is?
