Snowstorm

This snowstorm created lots of winter recreation for us around here. Wayne, Joanie, and I went for a snowshoe. I forgot to bring my camera, so no pictures of the winter wonderland the woods have become, but this afternoon the kids had a great time playing in the over size snowbanks, making snow forts, and snowmen. Below, Wayne looks like he's standing on his knees in this picture, but he's actually in mid air, jumping from a snowbank. I'll just let the rest of the pictures speak for themselves.

    So glad to see pics of the kids enjoying all the snow. Loved the snowman and Wayne jumping from a bank.

    Heather is growing up. Her face is thinning out and she is losing any baby face she used to have. Still as cute as can be, but I notice how she is maturing as they all do!

    Our 10 inches of snow was followed by rain. Very nasty out.

    those pictures are incredible! glad everyone had some fun in the snow. Just rain, rain, and more rain here-- they're warning us about floods and I'm glad I have my L.L. Bean wellies to wear!

    Great photos, my goodness those are cute kids, so proud they are related to me and my godchildren!
    Estelle just looked at the photos and got a little weepy for missing her cousins.

    Wow! What awesome pictures! They look like they come straight out of an LL Bean catalog! I love the picture of Wayne at the bottom - what a cutie!

    I agree with the others, Darlene- you take beautiful pictures! The kids look like they're having so much fun- we've been so snow-deprived up to this point, glad a bunch fell during vacation week :-)
