Cole lost his first tooth today. A lower incisor. The new tooth is already coming in back there. I guess we can expect a visit from you-know-who tonight.
Thank goodness it finally came out. It's been driving him crazy for about a month now. And it's been driving the rest of us crazy too. We've been receiving up to the minute reports about it's progressive looseness, which he would demonstrate by wiggling it front to back and eventually even side to side. Yesterday it was hanging by a thread and I thought he would lose it by the end of the day or in the night while he was sleeping and swallow it, but when he woke up, it was still there, flopping around. At some point, mid morning, he shrieked, "Hey, my tooth is gone!" We haven't seen it since. It mysteriously disappeared without notice. We know the Tooth Fairy will come anyway if you leave her a nice letter because the same thing happened to Wayne a few years ago.Tooth Fairy, warm up your wings.

Oh my goodness, Cole's hanging tooth reminds me of a time when he had a hanging bandaid! He is just too funny!
ReplyDeleteHope the tooth fairy makes it to your house tonight!
