Paper Heather

The other day Heather kept herself very busy for quite a long time with a project that she came up with all alone.  The project involved lots of paper, and  lots and lots of tape, and lots of time spent cutting with scissors.  In the end, Paper Heather was born.
And also a Paper Wayne.  Heather told Cole he would have to make a Paper Cole himself.
Paper Heather had a paper hamburger and paper french fries for supper.

Paper Wayne sat in the high chair.
Since these pictures were taken, Paper Heather has acquired paper hair and a paper ballet tutu.
We acknowledged Joanie's birthday with a little cake and ice cream. Happy Birthday Joanie.
(Wes is grimacing because he had a bad back.)

  2. Joanie told me all about Paper Heather so I was glad to get a good look at her. Very cute! The Real Heather is very creative and talented.

Glad to hear that Wes's back is better!

  3. Which is worse, the back of the knees?
We love Paper Heather, and think she could come and visit us because she could fit in an envelope or a suitcase easily.

  4. Glad to know that that there are still simple pleasures in kid's lives. How clever of Heather! Love Wayne regressing to the highchair!! Reminds me of when we used to cut out furniture, people, clothes from Sears magazines, and make "homes" all glued on cardboard! Spent hours doing this with my sisters, and playing "house". Good, cheap fun!

  5. Paper Heather could become "Flat Heather" and fly around the world....Hmm, which is worse, bad back or bad knees? It depends on the day, whether it's raining or not, weather I have shoveled snow or climbed stairs...
Hope you are felling better Wesley!
