I got very few photos on Glover Day because I was chained to the kids arts and crafts table. It was fun, but I missed seeing all the runners come in. Here are the few photos I did manage to get.
I think Estelle looks exactly like Thomas in this picture. The kids are lined up for the start of the 2k.
And they're off! Estelle, running in sandals, stayed at least one length ahead of Heather and myself the whole way, until the finish line was in sight and then she bolted while Heather covered her ears against Bread and Puppet and the cheering crowd.
Cole and Wayne vanished when the race started, but Julie, using my camera got this shot of Cole in the homestretch.

I forgot to mention about the boats: One of the moms told me that as she was walking around, carrying the boat her child had made, another woman came up to her and wanted to know where she could BUY one! Maybe this is my new career.
