Heather and Cole had a piano recital yesterday afternoon. Their teacher let Wayne bow out of this one because he's been concentrating on playing piano for the school's jazz band, and trumpet for the regular concert band. Not to mention basketball, homework every night... And he was away at deer camp. He's got a full plate.
It was a special treat for Cole and Heather to have Grammie and Lisa come to their recital!
Mary got this dress for Heather at her church tag sale. It was the perfect thing for her to wear. Cole just wants to go have the cookies and refreshments that are always available after their recitals.
Grammie Alexander and I were tickled to be present in such a beautiful surrounding filled with talented children playing piano.
ReplyDeleteHeather did such a great job. I can't believe she already knows how to play with two hands.
Cole was so impressive with the piece he played - such a difficult piece it seemed, and so spirited.
Grammie says, "I think Cole and Heather did a great job. I enjoyed it very much!"
Darlene, I wrote a long comment the other day, but now I realize it never got posted. I am doing this just to see if it will post! I will tell the kids on Thursday how much I loved their playing!!
ReplyDeleteLove, Joanie
Now I know what it was...I didn't wait for the robot proof code to type in...that is why it didn't post!

I don't know why you're getting a robot proof code. I specifically have my comments set up so people don't have to do that and I just checked my settings to make sure that is turned "OFF" and it is. I don't know what's going on with blogger and my comments. Weird!
ReplyDeleteThis is a test to see if I have to do a robot proof code.
ReplyDeleteYes, I did have to do a robot proof code.
ReplyDeleteI sent blogger a question about this and their answer is way over my head, but basically I think what they're saying is that if you are not logged in to google (which also automatically logs you into blogger) then some browsers may make you do a robot proof code. In other words, if you comment as "anonymous" or "open ID" you may have to prove that you are not a robot or spam, regardless of my settings.
ReplyDeleteHere is their answer to my qauestion:
"The new, non optional CAPTCHA is provided to let you allow anonymous comments, without subjecting your blog to a barrage of spam. The Blogger / Google login status, and the ability to post comments, is sensitive to both cookie and script filters. Your readers may need to enable (stop filtering) "third party cookies", in their browser and on their computer. The effects of the non optional CAPTCHA, and the Google "One account" login, requires third party cookies, even more than before."
Wow! Such wonderful piano players! Loved it!! Hope they will be willing to play at the Alexander Christmas gathering. My piano is a bit out of tune, but it won't matter!
ReplyDeleteExcellent Cole & Heather!!
