Cole's Saxophone Solo

The OCSU (Orleans Central Supervisory Union) Middle School had their concert on Friday evening. It is usually held at Lake Region on a Saturday, but for various reasons had to be rescheduled and relocated to Barton School. Cole played a solo in this piece called, "Red Sky at Night."

  1. Well done, Cole! That seemed like a hard piece to play and you did great! I noticed that Aunt Joanie was bopping her head to the music!

  2. Joan's "solo" head turn made me grin as much as Cole's solo. Loved seeing both of them in this video! Bravo Cole, those were some fast notes to be playing.
Darlene, is this a grouping of students from all the "middle schools" in the OCSU?

    1. Yes. They practice separately in their schools and then come together for one big rehearsal the week of the concert.

  3. Léna says: "Cole, you play so good. You grown like one hundred and apples." (sic) (=unclear what this means)

Estelle says: "one hundred and apples, what does that mean?"
    Léna: "It's an expression."
