Mother Nature is playing a cruel April Fool's Birthday joke on us with this snow storm. Cole and I made the best of it with an early morning snowshoe.
Cole got some new clothes because he has grown a lot.

Every year Wes gives him this coupon.
Wayne made him a chore pass book.
Cole requested lean turkey burgers and salad for his dinner. I also found a recipe for healthy chocolate cake and peanut butter frosting. Were had dinner with Joanie and Grammie. The "healthy" cake was not a big hit. Heather didn't like it. Joanie said, "Well it was a good effort." Grammie said, "You could freeze it," and Cole himself said it was terrible.

Happy 13th Cole! We can see that you need new clothes because you look really tall! Is Wayne (or you, for that matter) taller than Daddy (says Estelle). Agnes is here visiting from Paris and she thinks that Wayne has the look of a Kennedy due to his hair. Cole also looks kind of like Tintin, who is a famous comic book character in France. We love Wayne's Free Chore book. Please teach Estelle & Léna about making chore books this summer. We love you! happy 13th!

-We looked up Tintin and do not find the comparison completely flattering.
Yes, well, the girls are in bed, but Thomas, Agnes & I agree that Tintin was a bit of a stretch. However, any Kennedy reference (as far as physical resemblance) certainly goes in a more positive direction. :-)

ReplyDeleteWayne is about 6'1" and Cole is 5'10" so Wes still has about an inch on Wayne. Yes it is true that many girls fall in love with Wayne and Cole. Cole is not allowed to have an official girlfriend because he is still too young. There is one girl that he really likes and she likes him too. She is very pretty and nice. She has purple hair. Wayne has had a few girlfriends this year, but dating is difficult when you do not have a driver's licence yet and have to rely on your mother to drive you around.
What a wonderful 13th birthday Cole had! I think on your birthday, Cole, that you can break your runner's diet and have a real chocolate cake!!!

Lena, Coles girlfriend broke up with him. He was very sad. But another girl, Sammy Jo, likes him a lot. She is the red head with glasses in the green dress playing clarinet in the jazz band. She is very tall and athletic - a basket ball star.
