Three baby chicks. You wouldn't believe how excited the kids were about these little guys. Or gals, I guess I should say.
Hopefully, if we can somehow get them to survive Spike, someday we'll have fresh eggs. Maybe we can sell them at the C+W.
Wayne's 3rd grade class is hatching some eggs at school, so we might have one more to add to the flock.
Total cuteness.

Dang...forgot to take a look at those chicks in person today!! Jacob enjoyed them though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a nice visit!!!
Hope the rain faucet "shuts off" long enough for you to get out in the garden and put those worms to work!
Love,
Mary :)
Great photos!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the words, "total cuteness!"
ReplyDeleteEnjoy Wayne Jr., Jr., Joseph, and Heather.
It will be fun for all to watch them grow!
Love that you are raising chicks! I think Aimee has started something here!! Are you building a coop? Can't wait to see them! Down, Spike, Down!!
ReplyDeleteLucky! I cannot wait to raise chickens someday.
ReplyDeleteThe chicks just started hatching at Elijah's daycare last night (although these chicks will not be "destined" to lay eggs, if you know what I mean). Regardless, they are SO cute!
Good luck with the chickens, it will be nice to have fresh eggs someday!
