One More Short

Here's one more video of Cole that I had tried to upload yesterday.

Last summer Wes ran over Heather's tricycle, but Wayne realized that it was not a total loss. He removed the squashed rear wheels and replaced them with little plastic skis. All these months later, there is finally some snow and so Cole decided to take it for a test ride. Before I took this video, he had a couple of runs that were more successful than what you see here, but you'll get the idea.

  1. What a smarty-pants! He must have been so excited to test the new "wheels!"

  2. What a clever contraption. We had fun watching Cole get it going!

  3. Let's discuss the "Call of the Wild" wolf that runs in at the end of the film - oh my! he's big!
    Genius, sheer genius.
Ask Wes if he remembers the "jack-knife" thing we rode down at Turcotte's - deadly and similar to this contraption. Think I got a bloody nose due to that thing.

  4. To Julie: Maybe your bloody nose was not from the jack-knife thing, but from the Wolf that roamed THAT hill at the time! -Wes

  5. Oh man, how can anybody forget Chevis. Terrifying.

  6. The wood pile graphic is pretty to look at. Please tell Wayne & Cole that it is better to stack wood with the bark side up.

  7. Bark acts like a lid on firewood. On split wood, stack the wood with the bark side on the bottom to allow the wood to dry faster. If you are storing the wood without cover, stacking with the bark side on top will prevent some of the rain from soaking into the wood.
