That is a great post! I think I take hundreds of pictures of Fred for those one or two good ones that make the blog... Thank goodness for digital cameras!
Dad used to take these three-headed-monster portraits of us every Thanksgiving... but with a film camera, yech. I apologize to my patient older sisters for pulling a Cole/Heather in almost every shot!
Oh my gosh! I laughed so hard at all those photos and all those expressions on Cole and Heather. You are right, Wayne does have the patience of a saint!
This reminds me of when my three girls were young and every year we got a picture of them for the Christmas cards. Except, back in my day, there were no digital cameras. So we would shoot a roll of 20 pictures, just praying that when they were developed one of them would be good enough to send!
Darlene, you made my day!! I laughed out loud! Cole wasn't thrilled about having his picture taken, and Heather has "chees" down pat, and Wayne is the "oldest" child and behaves himself! It just shows you how hard being a pro photographer is. Darlene, you are on your way!!
What a riot Darelene! I think you need to publish these in a photography magazine...with some kind of title like "the Perils, Perserverance, and Patience" of getting the perfect photo!!! Love, Mary P.S. The beach really looks inviting, as cold as it was, can't wait for summer on Shadow Lake!

ReplyDeleteThe real joke is that these aren't even a fraction of what I actually took. But you "get the picture." Ha ha.
